I had to have it operated on. The drs told me I had to stop breastfeeding. LiKe you, it was always my plan to breast feed. It was hard to finally accept that it wasn't going to happen for us but in the end I know it was best for us. I'm glad that things are going better for you and you're getting to bond with your little one!Aprilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13413541498783502110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7347143.post-22244597689704813382010-04-16T10:02:39.537-04:002010-04-16T10:02:39.537-04:00Amen Jayna! You lasted breastfeeding much longer than I did!Mandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03221527285483509432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7347143.post-72221660190245372422010-04-15T16:22:04.610-04:002010-04-15T16:22:04.610-04:00I totally hear you Jayna. (She was 8lbs 3oz at birth and only 10lbs at 3 months!) I felt such relief when I finally let myself let go and just went solely with formula. I also was much less emotional and stressed. It was so freeing!

I do believe that breastfeeding is a good thing for some kids (Bretton is nursing just fine). But I don't think it is the "best" for everyone.

Today Morgandy is just fine. She's super bright, very tall and healthy. Annie will be too! Good for you for doing what is best for you both!myrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18212456657148767722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7347143.post-46928660416564192412010-04-15T15:46:19.694-04:002010-04-15T15:46:19.694-04:00That's awesome that you stuck it out that long...That's awesome that you stuck it out that long with all of that coming with it. I only lasted 2 1/2 months because of mastitis 3 times, too. Just know that you are still doing the best thing for her which is providing for her in whatever way is best for her AND you.Aubriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15809503540120024863noreply@blogger.com
